Step Right Up with McGill's

Over 120 bus passengers were taken on a journey around the dancefloor at a special event in Greenock.

McGill's customers enjoyed the latest free tea dance which kicked off at the Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock!

The special tea dance was held to celebrate the return of our ClydeFlyer summer timetable, and the venue and entertainment did not disappoint! Customers were able to dance overlooking the River Clyde, to live music courtesy of John Findlay.

Cuppas and cakes were served to keep the dancers going, as they waltzed all afternoon across the beautiful function suite.

Isabelle Murray, Marketing and Communications Manager at McGill's, said: "We had over 120 attendees at our Beacon Tea Dance, with music provided by our regular entertainer, John Findlay.

"Our tea dances usually stop for summer, but we decided to add this extra one to launch our new ClydeFlyer summer timetable, that started on April 3, and our new CapitalFlyer service to Edinburgh which starts 2 May.

"We've organised 2 tea dances in Edinburgh too! On Wednesday 17 May and Wednesday 14 June, both at Merchants Hall on Hanover Street."

Tickets are still available for both dates and anyone interested in attending can call us free on 01475 650 907.

McGill's tea dances are free to attend, and always prove to be a great afternoon for all involved.
