Road Safety Week

Our Road Safety Week competition winner has been picked, well done Ryan aged 12 from Paisley!

Road Safety Week takes place this week! And we encouraged kids to get creative, and draw their own bus safety picture, to remind people of how to stay safe when using a McGill's bus!

We're delighted with the responses and it was a hard choice to pick the winner! Ryan, aged 12, from Paisley was picked and his picture is displayed on the home page of our website for the full week!

Runners up will also receive their road safety goody bag - which includes a Road Safety Week certificate and sticker, as well as McGill's goodies!

Although we have picked our winner - if you would still like to draw a bus safety picture you can still post it to us and we'll send you a Road Safety certificate for taking part!

Road Safety Week is the biggest road safety event, ran by the charity, Brake. McGill's is delighted to get on board again this year and raise awareness of how important bus safety is.

Children should always remember when boarding a bus to:
  • Think what's happening around them
  • Make sure they can easily be seen
  • Don't distract the driver
  • Wear seatbelts where available
You can download your colouring in sheet below and post to:
