McGill's continues to motor to the top!

McGill's has featured for a third year in Scotland's Business Insider 500, the long established league table of the country's top performing businesses. We have moved up the rankings by an impressive eighty one places since our debut appearance in the table in 2015.

Now position 269, our ambitious company has reported an 8.5% increase in turnover in the latest set of public accounts, meaning we have moved even further up the ranks!

Commenting on McGill's move up the table, Managing Director Ralph Roberts said: "We are pleased to see, for the third year in a row, a steady move up the league table for McGill's. It is recognition of the tremendous team effort across the business, and the faith that our customers place in us. 2017 will see us continue with our ambitious growth plans, and I believe that our continuous investment in quality vehicles, a focused management team and the commitment and backing of the company's owners, will continue to drive the business forward this year, and beyond."

"2017 is the year McGill's introduces GoSmart cards across every service, real-time information for customers to access direct and eventually contactless payment. This is due to our £1m investment in new Ticket machines, and back office systems, which has given us visibility that was previously unavailable."

Chairman, James Easdale added: "McGill's has built an enviable reputation on providing a first-class service across our operating areas, and we are confident that our model, which puts our customers at the heart of what we do, will see Scotland's largest independent transport company continue to motor to the top of the table."
