Largs A78 closure - Check your McGill's temporary timetable

With the first instalment of the three scheduled road closures to take place this weekend, we have organised a shuttle bus and diversions, allowing customers to travel to Largs, despite the A78 being closed.

The McGill's service 904 shuttle bus will operate from Intu Braehead bus stance 1, starting at 8.30am on Saturday 14th April, will operate to Largs via Beith and Kilbirnie, every 30 minutes until the last journey at 08.08pm from Largs.

On Sunday 15th April, the 904 shuttle bus will operate every 60 minutes, direct to Largs, and starts at 09.00am. The last shuttle bus will depart Largs at 06.15pm heading back to Intu Braehead.

ClydeFlyer's 901 and 906 will terminate at Wemyss Bay and 907 will operate as normal.

Details have still to be confirmed for 21st and 22nd April closure.

McGill's Operations Director, Colin Napier, said: "We are working hard to minimise the impact of this road closure for our customers. Our current 904 service between Largs and Paisley is being extended to Intu Braehead and will operate as a connecting shuttle bus to our 901 and 906 services. Our route managers will be at key locations including Intu Braehead to direct any customers. Therefore, the message is very much still to travel and perhaps, even to take advantage of trying out this unique service."

If you have any questions in regards to the diversions or shuttle bus, call us free on 08000 51 56 51 or email enquiries@mcgillsbuses.co.uk.
